Pupil Groups

Info about Pupil Groups within our school.

In School we value the children’s contribution and ideas and ensure that they are pivotal in school improvement plans. We have several pupil groups that take the lead with various projects and initiatives across the school. All children have the opportunity to be part of different pupil groups as they move through the school. Being a valued member of a Pupil Group gives the children some ownership over what happens in school and empowers them to use their voice and actions to make a positive impact on the world around them.

  • Sport leaders: Year 5 and 6 children are trained in playground leadership –they promote fair play and introduce games to the children at breaktimes.
  • Mental Health Ambassadors: these children ensure that all children feel safe and happy and promote kindness and compassion across school
  • E Safety group: a group of children in school promote how to stay safe online and how to make the most of the technology we now have available
  • Eco Warriors: this group of children ensure that our school and community do all that we can to protect and preserve the environment
  • SNAG group: this group takes the lead with promoting healthy lifestyles through what we choose to eat and exercise
  • Mini Vinnies: this group leads on charity work and forming links with the local community including care homes
  • School Council: this groups ensures pupil voice is a prominent feature in school and that ideas and suggestions are responded to. They are also taking the lead with forming links with our partner school in London.
  • Chaplaincy Team: responsible for ensuring we maintain a prayerful environment with opportunities for spiritual development. They are working hard to develop different prayer areas around the school.
  • Gardening Gang: responsible for panting and growing a variety of wild plants and fruit and vegetables. We have our very own allotment area!
